• Q Why can't Jet Lag detect my timezone?
• A Jet Lag relies on two web services to detect your location and subsequent timezone. The first is SkyHook wifi positioning, which attempts to locate you based on surrounding wireless access points. The second is Geonames service to map a location to a specific timezone. These services aren't available everywhere, your mileage may vary.


• Q Why is the current location not the city I'm in?
• A Jet Lag uses the same "closest city" list as Mac OS X's timezone preferences pane, which doesn't include every city in the world. We try to find the nearest.
